Austin eats a hamburger!

Ok, to most people they would say, "so what?" but to Austin it is a HUGE deal. He is the pickiest person you can imagine and we have been trying to get him to eat something more than chicken nuggets w/barbecue sauce, which because of our neighbors he now will eat them with Ranch. Anyways we have been telling him for about a year that he could get a dog or trampoline if he tried something new like a ham sandwich or hamburger. After lots of attempts he finally did it. He ate about a half of a hamburger from McDonalds on Friday, and chose to get a trampoline. The trampoline was up and in full jumping force within hours of him eating the dreaded hamburger. Scott has been really great and persistant about getting him to try 2 bites of something new.

So Saturday morning I go into his room, he is on his top bunkbed with the blinds open looking at the trampoline, then Sunday morning he opens up the kitchen door and looks at it and says "Mom it is so beautiful". In the few days of having it, I have loved it. Hearing all the neighbor kids on it, laughing is truly music to my ears. Today some kids brought over some water balloons and they all had a ball. We are looking forward to a great summer!!
